Posts, videos, comments, private messages, rental and job listings, marketplace items, business reviews and dating profiles on Australia Info Port are published by users, who are responsible for them. They do not represent the views of the Platform. We do not review content before it is published and cannot guarantee that it is true, accurate, complete or lawful.

2. Guides, news and other information

Guides, news, calculators and other information on the Platform are for general information only. We try to keep them accurate and up to date, but policies, prices, fees and rules change often and we do not guarantee that the information is accurate, complete or current. Some news is compiled, translated and rewritten from public sources; the original publisher's information prevails. Always check the latest information from the relevant government agency, official website or organisation before acting.

3. Not professional advice

Nothing on the Platform (including guides, news, calculator results, user posts and comments) is financial, investment, tax, migration, legal, medical or other professional advice. For important decisions such as buying property, borrowing, investing, tax, visas, contracts or health, please consult a qualified professional (for example a registered migration agent, lawyer, accountant, licensed financial adviser or doctor).

4. Dealings between users

Renting, buying and selling, jobs, dating and other offline dealings are between users. The Platform is not a party to them and does not provide guarantees, escrow or payment services. Check the other person's identity and details yourself, never pay deposits, payments or "training fees" in advance, and meet in public places. Report scams straight away and contact the police or Scamwatch (scamwatch.gov.au).

Content marked "Ad" or "Sponsored" is provided by advertisers, who are responsible for their products, services and claims. Showing an ad does not mean we recommend or endorse the advertiser.

6. Third-party links and services

The Platform may link to other websites, apps or services (such as maps, business websites and third-party sign-in). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or services.

7. Availability

We try to keep the website and app running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will never be lost. We may pause features for maintenance, upgrades or security. Please keep your own copies of important content.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and its operator are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from using or being unable to use the Platform, relying on content on the Platform, or dealings between users. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law

This Disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Use and is governed by the laws of New South Wales. If the English and Chinese versions differ, the English version prevails.
