What is Australia Info Port
Australia Info Port (auinfostar.com) is a bilingual Chinese–English community for local life in Australia. Members post and find rentals, property, jobs, second-hand items, food, events and local services, and share their experience of living in Australia. The site launched in October 2026 and can be browsed without an account.
How it compares with Xiaohongshu, TikTok and Facebook
It works in a similar way: you can post photo notes (like Xiaohongshu/RED), watch vertical short videos (like TikTok) and discuss in the comments (like a local Facebook community). The difference is that everything here is about local life in Australia, organised by city (Sydney, Melbourne and more) and by channel (rentals, jobs, marketplace and more), in Chinese and English. Australia Info Port is an independent website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Facebook or any other platform.
Where the content comes from
Community posts are written by registered members, who are responsible for them. The property calculators and the property and study/visa guides are written by our editors, and the guides cite official sources (such as the ATO, the Department of Home Affairs and state revenue offices). We do not republish news. Comment stickers: the bear and drama-cat stickers are Stickers by mssgs-stickers.com (free licence, see mssgs-stickers.com/license); the others are Microsoft Fluent Emoji (MIT License; notice at auinfostar.com/stickers/LICENSE.txt).
Who runs the site
The site is operated by Shan Quantum Tech Pty Ltd (ABN 27 687 853 130, ACN 687 853 130), a company registered in New South Wales, Australia, based in Sydney.
